Flowerized is a 3D story adventure/farming game, where you play as Ilva - former astrobiologist who's lost her job and got demoted to an orbital cleaner position, where she picks up mangled bits of organisms that didn't manage to teleport properly. One day a similar thing happens to her, and she crashes onto an abandoned planet...

The project has undergone numerous direction changes throughout its development, and that may also be reflected in the music I present in this album, which is not a complete list of works that ended up being in the current version of the game.

I have received no requirements about direction from the author of the project regarding the album form of the soundtrack, so I constructed it in a way which would create the best standalone musical experience.



--== About the music ==--

At the core of the soundtrack there's synthesizers, crappy sampled guitar, clarinets and electronic drums. There isn't really a singular main theme, although there are similar ways in which instruments are used and what kind of intervallic and rhythmic structures comprise most of the melodies.

The entire album is made and mixed digitally, which allowed to not have to leave my room too much. I did sample a slightly out-of-tune guitar and recorded some other various noises and ambient sounds, such as birds or the garden at my grandparents' place, but that's about all the analog things required for this.
